Mr. Lafata is an Ex-Project Manager at the Lear Corporation Innovation Center. He has years of experience in Project Management, Business management, and nonprofit organizations. Mr. Lafata is dedicated community organizer and has participated on the distribution of food and clothing to members of the homeless community in Detroit and abroad for 6 years. With experience in leading teams on nonprofit mission trips, fundraising, and nonprofit operations Mr. Lafata is excited to be a part of Detroit Restoration and is ready to bring our goals and visions to reality. Mr. Lafata has a BA from Saginaw Valley State University.
Mr. Bonfiglio is an experienced, respected educator and long-time community organizer. He spent over 30 as a teacher in Detroit area public schools. He currently is an Adjunct Professor at Baker College. Mr. Bonfiglio has worked extensively with the homeless community in Detroit. He has organized food and clothing drives and distributed food and clothing to members of the homeless community in Detroit for over 10 years. Mr. Bonfiglio has a BA from Ferris State University and a Masters from Eastern Michigan University.
Mr. Bonfiglio is a successful, well-respected builder and housing developer. He is the founder of Bonfiglio Builders, LLC on which he built high-quality homes in Michigan for over 30 years. He currently is writing his first novel. He has a BS in Engineering from Michigan State University.
Mr. Bonfiglio is the Founder & Managing Partner of Proteus, LLC, an investment and advisory firm focused on Regenerative Medicine. He is the Chairman of the Board of the Centre for Commercialization of Regenerative Medicine, an RM Translation Center in Toronto, Canada. He also is a Member of the ISSCR Advisory Board and is on their Finance Committee. Mr. Bonfiglio has served on many Boards, including both for-profit and non-profit entities.
